Top Borders
|
Like the side borders, top borders are made with a single repeating tile. Notice that with a top border, you don't have side borders! A plain dark background can sometimes be even more effective than a textured one. Here, I used a dark blue that didn't fight with the photo and added a bight pink font to liven up the page. |

A Russian Orthodox
Church in Ninilchick, Akaska, 1999
Fingers of God

Often,
the Alaska sky is painted in shades of clear blue and accented with feathery clouds
like these. Can you see the hand of God blessing this little church? Ninilchick
(ni-nil-chick) is a fishing village on the Kenai Peninsula, south of Anchorage,
that combines the traditional with the modern -- log cabins and RV's, for instance.(Can
you see the RV in the background?) That's Mt. Redoubt in the far background, an
active volcano.
