Nome

Part 2

Fish Camp
This little fishing shack a few miles out of Nome brightens a sky filled with gathering clouds. This area is very flat and is actually a cold desert with no trees and few shrubs.

Every spring, as they have for centuries, a good share of the city of Nome moves to little cabins like these that line the river where salmon swim upriver to spawn. Most of the shacks aren't this colorful and in season, they aren't this neat either!
