Saguaro Sunsets

Hey, Helen! Look, there's going to be a great sunset tonight!" My neighbor knows my obsession with collecting sunset photos. I drop everything, grab my camera and off I go. Down this road. No, too many buildings. Back the other way, up a mountain and down, over a wash in the road. (No rain this evening so no worries sudden floods.) Finally,I find this huge saguaro pointing to a painted sky. But power lines mar perfection. Oh, well, that's the price we have to pay for having hot showers and cold drinks!

This is photo is a composite of two photos I took that evening: one with a georgous sky and one of the saguaro cactus and a less georgous sky. The fun of digital photos - and good webpages - is how you can make a good photo great!
